Jen Slaw's juggling combines grace, humor, skill and beauty with a captivating style which delights all audiences. She has been performing since 1991 thanks to an initial juggling lesson and much encouragement from her middle school teacher and friend, Jackie Erickson.
Dancing since 1984, Jen seamlessly blends graceful movements with her juggling. She was the 2002 International Jugglers' Association's Three Ball Champion. She has performed throughout the United States and around the world at a wide variety of schools, libraries, festivals, theater shows, casinos, corporate and community events, and private parties, including performances on Holland America cruise lines, at NYC's Iridium Jazz club, South Street Seaport and F.A.O. Schwarz, and in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
Jen teaches private and group juggling and circus arts classes to students of all ages. She has taught with the Big Apple Circus, A Midsummer's Dreaming Theatre Company, as well as in many public and private schools and libraries in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Recent projects include collaborations with performers from Cirque du Soleil and Ringling Bros. in The Love Show and with World Champion juggler Tony Duncan on acts combining unique juggling with dance, theater and comedy.
Jen is a graduate of Swarthmore College with degrees in art and engineering and currently lives in Nutley, NJ.
