Stage
Juggling and dance are blended to create a unique display of artistry and skill. Jen's appealing personality shines on stage through her expressive eyes and captivating smile.
Jen Slaw's signature 3 ball act is a dance, set to instrumental hip-hop music. Jen dances around the balls, and even performs a portion of the routine while sitting down, balls weaving in and out of her legs and around her body. Precision choreography punctuates the act and keeps the energy level high throughout the entire routine.
Dressed in a swirling black dress, Jen flirts with the audience in a playful club routine set to swing music. Clubs are twisted and swung around the body, creating beautiful circular patterns.
Cigar boxes are manipulated to lively music. Audiences young and old respond to this fun and energetic routine in which the rhythm of the boxes complements the beat of the song. Jen also performs an act that combines cigar boxes with a ball. The objects are manipulated in inventive ways that create magnetic illusions. Jen’s smooth, fluid movements highlight this unique style of juggling.
These acts are ideal for stage. Jen can adapt any act to the particular needs of a given show or performance troupe. Music and costume may be adapted for a specific performance theme. For example, Jen tailored her ball act for the show Le Cirque de Bel Canto (W.O.W. Cafe Theatre, NYC, 2003) to fit Carmen's aria.

Collaborations
Jen is thrilled to be a part of The Love Show: A Circus & Vaudeville Exploration of Silly & Serious Relationships, a Nimble Arts Production. The show thrills with high flying aerialists flirting, fiery jugglers on a flailing date, hysterical interludes of love gone awry, as well as a wife who stands on her husband's head and other demonstrations of the vagaries and delights of love in all its shapes and forms! Performers include stars from Cirque du Soleil, Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus and the New Pickle Circus.
Jen performs partner juggling acts with World Champion juggler Tony Duncan. Their show and individual acts combine unique and innovative juggling techniques with dance, theater and comedy. With routines ranging from funky hip-hop cigar boxes to flashy and silly salsa club passing, the duo can tailor pieces to fit various event themes and requirements.
Jen has performed for many years with the Philadelphia based Mystery Juggling Company, founded by Jackie Erickson. Fondly known to many as Mr. E, Jackie was the recipient of the 2004 International Jugglers' Association (IJA) Excellence in Education Award. Together, the Mystery Juggling Company juggles, does magic, clowns, performs court danger, plays music, cracks jokes, teaches and...entertains! The Company has been performing for over 20 years and is always a family favorite and a perfect addition to any event.
Jen also occasionally performs with the Give & Take Jugglers in their show full of impressive juggling, comedy, and lots of audience involvement. The company uses an antique calliope, traditions from vaudeville, circus arts, theater, and live music to create a lively and wholesome show that feels fresh and contemporary. The show appeals to a wide range of ages: children, adults, and even most teenagers!
